Good Morning!

Trig- Holy smokes when it rains for you! I don't blame ya on being pissed with the kiddo for "hiding" the issue with the car. Then a hit and run- OMG. Damage or not that is a NO NO and finable. This you know. I am glad you are working through this with her. Could you "take away" the car for a minute? I guess she is too old to ground to her room! LOLOLOLOL

My kids would have had the keys taken on that one AND BEEN REEMED!!!!! Best learn consequences through the love of parents than the big bad world. HUGS to you momma bear!!!!
I am curious what the CHOP thinks of it all.........

Girl... I hate that you pulled your leg again. REST it up and be gentle with yourself.

Lori- Yay on chasing that little ball around! Today is stellar here too! Finally some sun. But still so wet!
Any plans this weekend?

Nic- You relaxing beach side?
------------------------------------------------------------------

I started this and then walked away! Goodness, I feel scattered today! So today is IT for the job. I am getting paid though through the 24.

The interview yesterday went well. That being said I had knots in my stomach and was really anxious when they were describing the job. The bottom line they are understaffed, worked to the bone and desperate. I also learned that it includes weeks ends, and holidays. The caseload is off the chart and totally unreasonable. I was sitting there thinking and smiling as she was talking "THIS IS THE REASON IS NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL".

I boxed up my office equipment they sent and am taking it to FedEx this morning to send back.

Dental appointment at 2pm for crown fitting and temp cap placement.

Then watching both kids play softball/baseball for last games.

I am down to the FINAL pound to lose to get to the low baseline. Feeling better. It can keep on going down!

I am now in "FREEFALL", and it is scary and exciting and all that at the same time.

Till later!

Good FRIDAY Morning! TGIF!

We are slated for RAIN today! What a wet Spring! I am puttering for the most part today. I have one errand to get some boxed chocolates for my mom. (Yeah she eats that garbage).
Other than that, I am doing laundry and working on my NEXT. I am still working on my office setup. I ended up with 2 large monitors and the printer and shredder the company didn't want back. They said it cost more to ship back than worth. They told me to keep them! OKAY then!!!
I sent back the laptop and phone. I got to keep the standing desk too. Happy about all that.

Been doing some thinking about that 2 day a week hospital gig. I MIGHT consider it depending on the $$$$. I can do anything for 2 days. I will have to pick up something else as well. But it will offer benefits which are unheard of really for two days a week. I am not digging the work..... but again 2 days! LOL
I should hear something today.

I am going to Atl. Tomorrow for the weekend. Go Saturday- back Sunday. QUICK Trip. Boundaries..... and all.

Lori- I get tired. Goodness, you are just the energizer bunny. You have always been the most workout and energic of us. I can see how you get tired. I couldn't do all that walking day after day on the course. I would be in the cart! LOLOLOL

What are ya doing this weekend? Are ya done with your dumpster?

Nic/Trig-
Hiya!
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Well time for my last cup of coffee. Burgers today. No blue skies today. It looks gray and ready to pour.

Well I need to pry myself outta this chair and get productive! LOL

Waiting to hear from ya'll

Good Morning!

Lazy day! Raining and just dreary. DH is bored so he'll go to the grocery store with me later. I'm just planning to putter around the house and do some cleaning today. I'll figure something out for dinner for DH....I have some leftover protein in the fridge that will suffice for me.

Jaz......Safe travels to visit your Mom. I hope it goes well. A 2 day a week job sounds good for a bridge to your NEXT.

Trig and Nic.....what's happening?

I have to go figure out what I'm having for breakfast. I really need to eat some eggs, but some days I just can't face them. Weird.

Later!

Good Morning!

After a rainy day yesterday, we have a couple dry days to look forward to. I'm heading to the golf course...big surprise!

Yesterday morning, DH was reading the newspaper(yes, we still get a paper!) and he told me that my first boyfriend had died. I hadn't seen him for nearly 40 years, but it has still hit me like a ton of bricks. He was a year younger than me. We spent the end of our teen years together and then got back together a couple years later for a short time. It's just hard for me to believe. I don't know what happened, but I suspect cancer as it said in the obit that he died peacefully at the hospital. I guess you never really get over your first love. I was happy to read that he had 3 kids, several grandkids and a long time companion. I feel badly for his Mother who is still living. She has got to be well into her 80's, but no one should have to bury their child, even if he was 63 years old. Life can be SO hard.

--------

Trig....I'm sorry to hear that your sciatica is still giving you fits. So painful! Take it easy as much as you can.

Jaz....Hope things are going well at Mom's. I know you'll be glad to hit the road to come home.

Nic......How is DE?

--------

Just about time to pull myself together. Enjoy your Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning!

Lori- Goodness, I don't know if it is ever easy hearing about someone we grew up with passed away! Something about it is a gut-kick. It is not easy getting older!

Glad you are able to get out today and case your little white ball!!!!!!

PS I am shocked you get a newspaper! Do they still print those anymore?!?!?!?!? LOLOL

Trig- Glad you are doing better. Back pain, back pain is SUCH A PAIN! Mushy mushy mushy here too! We had big time rain here last night too!
Needing some sun!

How is kiddo doing? Settling into her summer?

Nic- What's up in DE?!? -Is hubby going to meet you there?
-----------------------------------------------------------=

I am SO frekin ready to get home. However, I need to assist my mom on a few things here before I take off.
I don't "see" stuff that is actually going on here unless I lay eyes on it.
Ya know when you look down the train tack and see a train coming at you full tilt, it is daunting. That is how I am describing this way it is going to go down for my mother and her husband. I tolerate him. I am so glad I don't live in the same state. It is going to be a wreck in the not too far distance! SIGHHHHHHHHHH
We all have had to deal with the oldies haven't we?!?!?!?!?

I am 100% one WOE.
Steak last night and burgers tonight.

I can't wait to get home. A few days of solace!

I am grateful for my furbaby at my side - literally.

I will check in tomorrow.

Good Morning!

Another day, another round of golf. It's supposed to be in the 80's today, just like yesterday. This afternoon I have a massage to look forward to....can't wait.

I have no idea what I'll eat today. I have leftover pizza and wings for DH, but I'll probably end up with eggs or a protein shake. Boring. I need to do some meal planning, but who has time???

Jaz.....Safe travels home.

Trig.....How's your "butt"? I know it's not funny. Sure hope it's getting better.

Nic.....Thanks for checking in! Glad you're having fun!

More coffee......we got up too early.

Lori I so understand your feelings about someone passing way that was on your timeline and part of your past. The paper? yea like Jazz I am asking are they still printing them HA Our local paper was like 6 pages, ohh we were rocking the news, now it is like 2 pages, lol. I actually am shocked it hasn't disappeared yet.

Keep up the protein

Nicco, girl you are busy busy as usual. I guess playing Pass the Baby is time consuming LOL

Jazz, yes the oldies, we all gotta deal as we gotta deal. It isn't easy at all. Holding zc 100% is great. You feeling back to zc normal?

--------SO ALL going better with stupid sciatica. Still got some weirdo butt/into leg/into knee pain but way less. Again tho still be super duper careful on how I walk, move, twist and more. Even doing that tho is starting to drive me batty LOL I need now to move a full tilt and not think about my every darn movement but right now I need to keep babying that movement to keep from going backward. So far so good tho on improvement. Mood feels better now too on it all.

Holding zc 100% tight as heck and feeling fab.

I am still playing catchup with chores tho. Hubby put together the new ceiling fan I bought for living room and wow it is nice. Remote! my first remote controlled ceiling fan and I love love love it So when I gotta replace any other ones in the house they will be a remote model also. No more pulling chains HA

ok be good, off to get life handled a bit around here.

Good Morning!

Another sunny, dare I say, HOT day! Golf was ok yesterday, but SO slow. We had a group of young guys in front of us who were all over the place. Waiting to hit every shot gets old in a hurry. I'm hoping today will be different...we'll see. Plus, I was struggling.....again, hope today is a different day. My massage therapist gave me a work over yesterday....yikes! A good massage is quite often a bit painful....oh yeah.

---------

Nic......It sounds like you're having a fun time in DE. That's what it's all about!

Trig....I'm glad to hear that your sciatic pain is a bit better. What is DD up to?

Jaz....Hope you got home ok and all went well with Mom. How is your weather?

---------

Tenderloin steak for dinner tonight.....looking forward to it.

Have good days!

Lori with my no patience I wouldn't last 10 mins. behind slow players on the golf course....I would have to take them out HA

yea we got hotter today too so today is work on pool day.

Kiddo is good but a 'bigger' pain in a more 'adult' version LOL oh gawd when does Uni start back? not soon enough for me!!

Jazz and Nicco need updates from ya, hope all is good.

-------------so the stupid sciatic has left the left leg....thank heavens and now I am into that last heal part of having my right leg being way better but I still have to control how I walk. If I swing out my right left in any way, like a jumping jack side action, I just wanna go down to the ground, ugh, but if I walk German military style, leg straight and march march forward with absolutely no side movement I do fine. THIS IS my normal issue I have truly dealt with on how I heal thru this stupid crap that hits me. Well at least I see some 'end game' coming in a day or 2 if I watch me and how I walk......ok enough on that

working on pool all day.

we got the weeds sprayed, hubby weed whacked around pool, I believe it is the filter doing the leak but so much rain the pool is fine on its level....again not doing squat about leak now, just add water when needed LOL yup we shall see where this goes.

kiddo's car hit front and back, we took to our guy Ken that does it all on the side and it will be around 1k to 1.2k for fixes, he does fab work on the cheap cause hubby said he knows if we do a Buick dealership we are at double. Heck their labor rate is like my rv labor rate, so high that work costs double so having Ken do this means we save..........so that will happen soon.

Kiddo is on punishment of zip money from me. She is paying off all costs on those wrecks for responsibility thru chores around here and they ain't easy what I am placing on her and she is like, nope not doing it and I said, you ever want respect from me again? and she says yes and does exactly what I ask, plus a good job.......so 'she gets' how ticked I am at her on this one.

GOOD NEWS on the stupid gummy bear issue....ugh....she took 2 of them and came in and said she feels weird, don't like it, got all super fidgety and I took care of her 'friggin' bit of crazy' and after we talked and I said I have no intention of taking any of that crap that I bought so she could have my little package of it and she said no. She ain't taking them no more. She gave away the vape pen and has no draw to it and she wants ME TO take the gummies and use them and I am like hell no LOL I haven't even touched the ones I bought for me to try......so she said lets throw them out and I said cool......so all druggie gummies are gone from the house. I said, what the hell are ya gonna do next? and she said she just doesn't need it, wanted to try it, and is way over that crap since that double gummy event scared her so I AM SO thrilled at this point..........ok way too much crazy on it all but at this point I think we got thru the 'near 20 yr' old wanna experiment crap here and it don't suit her at all. YES YES I AM super thrilled it is going down this way HAHA Still got big hawk eyes on her for sure

so zc is wonderful and I am eating bigger beef and more fat intake and it has elevated me up again. ZC we can tend to not be hungry AT ALL for long times do when we 'short into less desirable/nutrtional meats' we actually start to work against ourselves so I am back on big beef, big fatty pork and holding there.....made a big difference eating all 2 lbs plus into 3 lbs per day plus I lost some lbs doing this ZC all the way baby. Trust zc and we do so well as long as we eat well at all times. So big beef intake and big pork intake....done deal and this got me back on track doing exceptionally carnivore great agian.

Today is a 3 lb chuck roast for me in crockpot.
also a 3 lb. chuck roat in crockpot with all the beef stew veggies etc. for family and they can make rice, noodles or whatever crap they want with 'their beef stew version' and life is super simple with 2 crockpots going since this morning

ok enough chat......be good all, got a pool to tackle, gawd LOL
