Default Sugar free jam in Tescos

I've just tried the 'no added sugar' Streamline jams from Tescos. They are all fruit and sweetened with splenda. The orange one is like marmalade made with all oranges and none of the jelly stuff. The strawberry one is also delicious and not too sweet. They are still a bit high in carbs at about 20 g per 100 but won't send you rushing too the loo like diabetic jams!

Thanks for the heads-up, Robert! I shall look out for those next time I am in a Tesco.

If you can afford to spend a little more, then Avidlite do a range of Jok 'n' Al fruit spreads at £3.25 per jar. These range from 12% to 16% carbs.

Avidlite also stocks Jok 'n' Al marmalade (20% carbs) and their range of savoury sauces (similar carbs to the jams; unfortunately Avidlite doesn't state the stats for every single flavour so, if you wanted to know the exact composition, you'd have to Google it.)

Jok 'n' Al fruit sauces (9.33% to 11%) may also be worth checking out, too.

But they ain't cheap!

As well as Avidlite, you can get these from www.lowcarbmegastore too. I think they have the ingredients as well as nutrition info displayed there.
