Default Judy!! SB Questions!

Hi Judy!

I am back and ready to try this again. There is clear evidence that doing low carb is the best way to lose weight. However, Atkins is too much of a shock to my body and I think SB is more for me. However, it allows low fat cheeses and nuts in Phase 1. I noticed the fat content in one day is rather high. Isnt 70g of fat too much? It makes my percentages around F:47% P:35 C:18% I just feel like that cant be healthy. Am I doing something wrong? I am 23 years old, 5'5 and probably back up to 137. My goal is to get to 120. What supplements would I need to take during the first phase; if any? I get so nervous with the cheese, deli ham, and nuts becuase of the fat content. It just seems so high to me! Help! Ive started today!

Thank you!!!!!!!

At your height and current weight, you are very close to your goal weight so total calories will come into play for you to lose weight and keep it off.

No, that doesn't sound too high on fat %(70%) to me. But it just maybe too many total calories for your body to shed weight. Besides, SBD is not a low fat plan but a good fat plan.
My advice to you is to do phase I without any nuts or cheese. You can always add them after you hit your goal weight.

Good Luck!

Great! Thank you Judy!!! You are awesome!

Do you think I need to take supplements during the first two weeks? I feel like I can get in all my nutrition once I enter phase 2, but phase 1 seems to lack a lot..
