Default Is Yogurt a "Sweet Treat"?

Hey, all! I've had numerous failures with other plans and am going to try the Beach. I tried it a long time ago and was fine for Phase I, then immediately craved on Phase II and lost the plot.

That's just the background. There's a bit more to it than that but I don't want to bore anyone, so...my question is: During Phase II, if you add a sweetener (Splenda, Truvia or whatever you use) to yogurt as a breakfast, are those calories then your "sweet treat" calories for the day? Or do you allow yourself a sweet treat in addition to, say, a sweetened yogurt?

And yes, I know many people stay away from Splenda. But I also know there are others who really like yogurt, but not the plain variety.

Thanks for any help.

HI!
We count yogurt in with our 2 cup dairy daily totals from phase I and onward. Adding a sweetner does not use up yourt sweet treat quota. Sweet treats are another set of choices as it will show you on the phase I food list.
I start my days with 1/2 cup of yogurt and have been for several years now. I also use Splenda!
