Default Yummy Nachos or Taco Salad!

I am not sure if everyone already knows about this, but it is possible to have taco salad/nachos on LC! I baked a thin chip shape of parmesan cheese in the oven at 400 for about 5 or 6 minutes (watch carefully so they stay golden and not too brown). Once finished, top with all your favorite LC nacho toppings! Ground beef, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cheddar, guacamole, and hot sauce went on mine. The parm chips provided crunch and I really didn't notice a big difference in taste from tortilla chips once all the topping ingredients were added.

I will try this. I love nachos and you're right, we don't need much from the chips, after seasoned ground beef and cheese enter the scene the chips are just mouthfeel which I think your idea would fulfill.

I think i'll try and make a pan of the parmesan and then break it into chips after it cooks. Have you tried that yet?

What did you use for a pan or did you use parchment paper instead? Thanks!
