Thumbs up BanjoBling is working out!

Ok so I vow to come on here 5 days a week (M-F) and post the workout I've done. Some days will be less than others, but I vow to do something to get me moving toward my goals.

I'm fat and tired of it, I'm addicted to CARBS and tired of it, and I generally hate my body. I have zero control over myself and what goes into my mouth and I'm sick of it. On top of that I've become a sedentary person which sucks to the MAX!! My husband will be doing this with me (his workouts may differ some but the low-carb diet will be the same). We have a 4 year old and are tired of being ashamed to go take her to the pool or swimming at the lake.

So tomorrow Tuesday August 2nd I will be on here to log my first workout of the new ME!

Later,
BanjoBling

NO workout Friday! I shouldn't have skipped it, but I did.
I'll do better next Friday.

For today - Saturday - dumb bell workout

Jumping Jacks - 15 3 sets
push-ups - on knees 3 sets of 8 (i'm weak in this area)
bodyweight squats - 3 sets 12
Bicep curls - 3 sets 10 w/10 pounds (each)
Tricep ext - 3 sets 10 w/10 pounds (1 bell)
Shoulder overhead press - 3 sets 10 w/10 pounds (each)
calf raises bodyweight - 3 sets 15
crunches legs up (crossed) - 3 sets 25

I do all exercises with no (or very little) rest. In between each round I'll rest and maybe shake my arms and legs out for a minute or so before starting the next round. I want to get my heart pumping each time so I start with the jumping jacks and immediately do everything else. Hopefully I'll be able to increase the number of jacks as I increase the reps and weights.

You should take a look into doing back exercises to go with your chest exercises. Maybe some dumbbell rows.

Sunday - pushups, situps

trying to get ready for a physical test to enter a job. i'll also have to run a 13 minute mile (i can already do this within the time, but trying to better myself) it's the pushups and situps that will be hard for me so that's why i'm really concentrating on those
