Question Lower Ab Problems

In the last year I have lost about 100 pounds but still have a flabby fat roll just above my crotch area-lower ab area? The rest of my stomach is going away pretty well. To make matters worse I have had many knee surgeries and cant get on my hands and knees. What should I do to lose or tone this last fat roll??????

It's so hard to lose that lower roll-I have it too. There's no such thing as spot reducing but there are some good ab exercises out there (you can google them). One is called the Captain's Chair, and the other is a simple crunch using the stability ball. Both will make you wicked sore, but they help build the muscle there. The only thing that will burn that fat though is eating low carb and exercising.

Focus on the your whole ab area..don't worry about lower abs and such.

Like Demokat says, diet and excercise are the key.

Yup, agree with Demo and Gost! I have the same problem, from being overweight and 3 pregnancies. You may still find yourself needing a nip and tuck to get rid of the extra skin flap there once you get to goal weight, but then again maybe not. Depends on a lot of factors whether or not the skin will tighten up. Concentrate on losing the fat, strengthening your body and then reassess.

thank good im not the only one. I call it the mommy poch, roll. I hate it. I have tried the stabilty ball and crunch but it just seems like it working the upper abdomen area. Thereare a lot of lower ab exersises buti find them to be extremly hard.
