Default In N Out Burger?? Ok or not??

I have been very busy lately, so I stop at In N Out Burger, and get it protein style, which basically is 2 hamburgers w/ cheese, and some kind of dressing wrapped in lettuce rather than a bun. I've been eating them a lot, and last week was my second week on induction, and I lost only 2 lbs, Does anyone know if this is ok to eat?

Thanks!!

The protein style burger should be fine. Weight loss varies widely from person to person. Two pounds is two pounds less so keep it up and the pounds will fall off.

Any idea what the sauce is? Just wondering if there could be some hidden carbs in them....

The In-N-Out Burger web site ( http://www.in-n-out.com/nutritional_info.asp ) shows both the Cheese Burger and
Double Double protein styles to have 11 grams of carb (7 sugar). The carbs must be mostly from the sauce.

Suzanne Somers has a great sauce which she calls "special sauce". Hers has tomato paste which may add too many carbs for Atkins but it is essentially dill pickle relish, a tiny bit of splenda, mayo and tomato sauce mixed. I do this from time to time and it is great.

you could sub lc ketchup for tomato sauce.

The sauce is Thousand Island, I believe, and it does have sugar. You can ask them to hold the sauce. But the protein style is okay. I usually get the double double.

Thanks for all your responses, I've been eating it with the sauce, so I'm gonna have to say no to that from now on. I hope that hasn't stalled me? If so then I will just remember that for the next time. Thanks!!

Here we have Hardees...they have a low carb burger wrap....its a cheese burger with pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions and tomatos wraped in crisp lettuce. which is like 5 carbs...I order mine without onions, ketchup and tomatos.....helps take out the extra carbs.....

Onions have sugars in them, that's why they brown (carmelize) when fried. The sweeter the onion, the more sugar in it. A medium slice (1/8" thick) has about 1 and a half grams of carb. If you eat a lot of onion, the carbs can add up. For most people, the amount of onion in salads and other foods will not be a problem.

Wink Sauce Is Bad

I eat them all the time from In and Out or Carl's Jr and the key is to leave off the tomatoes ketchup and other things that are high in natural sugars like the special sauce, I get mine with pickles and mustard only and I eat 4 x 4 and that is 4 meats and 4 cheeses. Add a ice tea if you like but remember they do serve caffeine tea some people will be stalled on this..

And remember to check the bag before you leave they tend to try to sneak french fries into your order the little buggers and or put a bun on your burger or sauce, it pisses me off because all they do is make hamburgers its not that hard to remember...

So I went to In N Out and got a 4 by 4 with no sauce, no tomato, and no onion, hope that was ok? It must be way under 11 carbs without all that?
