Krav Maga and Induction phase
Hey, I'm thinking about starting the Atkins diet, but I also take Krav Maga lessons 3 days a week, an hour for each lesson, and engage in some other form of exercise (yoga or jogging) on the days that I don't have it.
I LOVE Krav, it feels great and I learn a ton every time- but they /really/ push you, you spend the whole hour in the lesson going as hard as you can. Even without a low-carb diet it's tough to keep up. I really, really, want to keep doing it through induction phase, and don't want to end up lagging behind the rest of the class/making myself sick trying to keep up. Is it possible to continue with this hobby and still do the induction phase of Atkins without completely burning out?
I can deal with some fatigue or tiredness during the induction phase if need be, and just push through it, but I don't want to be wiped out so badly that I wont be able to work out for two straight weeks.
Also, do people generally experience trouble exercising, fatigue, loss of muscle, ect while on Atkins? I've heard both sides of the story, and am not really sure what to think about it. Any advice, personal experience, and so on would be a huge help.
(Note: Krav Maga is a type of Israeli self defense. It's really strenuous, and on top of that, you have people trying to hit/kick you, knock you down, grab you, and so on while you learn- I spent one entire lesson being chased around the work out room by a guy trying to stab me with a practice knife. Not a situation that I want to be fatigued, worn out, or dizzy in.)
