Default How much Water??

I was curious how much water is needed for this WOE. I have been told to drink my weight divided by 2 so right now I would need 110.5ozs of water daily.

I just came across the video and I would love others input on this.https://www.drberg.com/blog/most-popular/the-drink-8-glasses-of-water-per-day-lie

That is just someones opinion about what you should drink. You need liquid. It does not have to be water and you don't have to drown yourself. I don't drink much water at all. I drink decaf iced tea I brew at home.

The point is to be hydrated and not floating. Make sure your pee is clear and not dark .

It really does vary from one person to another- and there are are all sorts of additional factors like activity level, climate, etc....

But urine should NOT be clear- it should be pale yellow. If you are clear, you are overdoing it and flushing out critical electrolytes.

Thanks Robin. I thought 110 was to much!

You don't need to force yourself to drink water. If you're thirsty, drink. If you're not, don't.

Can you imagine if the advice was you must eat when you're not hungry?

Can't say what is a 'recommendation' but

I drink one gallon per day (3.7 liters) in small sips throughout the day.

But I lift weights and do cardio on a regular basis.

I try to drink more water than I might normally do, because a very LC diet is quite dehydrating in nature. I drink as much water as I can, but I don't force it to any certain amount. I always have a glass of water nearby when I'm working or doing anything, really, and when I'm in the car I take a Starbucks cold glass of water with me to sip on. Some days I drink more than others, the I do think water helps with a lot of things. I've read that it helps flush out the fat you are breaking down, and it's good for you.
