Whee! Wishing I were in Vancouver right now... I love that city. Victoria too, Buchart Gardens is amazing.

As a Canadian living in Vancouver, I say thank you and I wish you were in Vancouver too - although you probably have better weather in San Diego!
And Glenda - on plan is the weekend plan, for sure. And some fun times near the water somewhere. Will you be heading to the harbour? Victoria probably really knows how to do Canada Day.

Here, the eye of the world is on all things Will & Kate . Can you imagine what a madhouse Ottawa's going to be today and tomorrow? .

We're staying close to home; enjoying local festivities and fireworks tomorrow night. Shouldn't be hard to stick to LC, although I make no promise that a wee bit o' shortcake won't find its way into my mouth along with the fresh strawberries and whipped cream ...
