Default Day one on SB

Hi everyone, Day one on SB is over. I think I did pretty well and not a bit hungry. I've tried Adkins for a few months and lost some weight, but then was weak and went back to my old eating habits. Read the SB book and am going to give it a good try. One question, are pork skins allowed on the SB? I really miss having those. Carole

Hi Carol! Im on Day 10 and I have to say Im not hungry but I AM counting down the days until I can have a glass of red wine at night! (4)

My pants already fit better and I feel great tho. I realized that its the fillings in sandwiches that I love, not so much the bread! And one dish that I truly love is to saute onions in some Pam Olive Oil spray, maybe add some red peppers too, then saute some chicken breast strips, put everything in a casserole dish and cover with some part-skim cheddar and let the whole thing get all melty and in the over and Im telling you my whole family loves it. No need for the wrap! Its the filling that fills us up!

Hi Boom, You are doing great!! I agree that its the filling inside the bread that is so good. Thanks for the chicken idea, I will give that a try tonight. Take care. Carole

I'm going to try that chicken thing.

I think pork skins are technically not allowed due to the bad animal fat. But they're deep fried so I bet there's trans fat too.
