instead of "cheating", why not look into the hundreds of options available for low carbers at your grocery store? there really isn't anything you can't find a replacement for. i used to struggle with this at first, but then i realized that with a little thought, you seriously can have anything (and hey, i'm here to help you out on this one!)

i know how it is to see others eat whatever they want and know you can't...i have blood sugar problems, so i very easily relate. but don't forget, life isn't all about food...so what if you're restricted in one area?

best of luck to you!

I think you might be losing the same 5 pounds. I've found that when I've cheated, I gain about 4 pounds and then it takes me a whole week to lose those 4 pounds. It's just not worth it to me. Too much stress.

This is the first diet I have been able to stick to for more than a week! (I had no willpower but now it's unbelievable how much I have). Thanks for all the help and hopefully we will all be seeing some great progress soon!

I definitely know how you feel, I work in an organization where the only way I can follow this program is to ignore the mess decks (where people eat) and any functions that my co-workers come up with. I see a Krispy Kreme box everyday when I come in to work, and there is always someone bringing in some High carby food that smells so good...Thank God my stomach has learned to turn off during the work day. ( I no longer have hunger pains or cravings ) oh...and induction sickness is not worth going through again. Good luck and stick with it. Years from now those friends will search you out.
