I got the Lily's 70% dark (salted almond) for my brother and I for yesterday's movie marathon recreation time. He loved it.

Lily’s premium, stevia-sweetened Extra Dark chocolate bars are made from the finest ingredients, including Fair Trade Cocoa. There is no added sugar, though you’d never know it. They are certified gluten free, Vegan, and Non-GMO. Lily’s is 25% lower in calories than dark chocolate that’s sweetened with sugar, and it tastes fantastic.

I found them at my local health food store.

Unfortunately the Lily's chocolate uses soy lecithin. I have to avoid all soy so most dark chocolate is off limits to me. When I was eating dark chocolate my favorite brand was Taza. I would get the one that is 87%. It has sugar but would have been OK if I could have controlled my eating but I can't seem to so I no longer eat it. It's also very expensive. That is a built in control but still I kept succumbing to it so I quit 100%.

Aw, sorry to hear that, Jean. Sounds like we both have to watch labels like hawks, what with me being gluten free. They sneak that stuff into EVERYTHING.

The list of foods to which I am sensitive is pretty extensive. I don't have to read many labels since I tend to buy only single ingredient foods. Chocolate was my exception until I decided that I tended to binge on it so I stopped buying it. I am happy to exist mainly on meat, fish and veggies plus coconut oil and olive oil. It's better than being sick all the time.

Will check around, after yesterday I will have to give it some thought. I have to eat it with the nuts I think it brought on hypoglycemia. Finally, I got out of bed at 1 am and ate a salad I was so hungry after that chocolate.
