I think it's important to eat high carb foods sometimes so that you don't feel deprived or feel as though you'll "never" have that food again. For some of us, eating is an emotional issue as well, and feeling deprived leads to overeating the foods we should be eating in moderation. I just felt like I hadn't eaten any of those foods in such a long time, it was a time for a break. Yeah, I didn't feel the greatest from the foods, and definitely didn't have the energy I usually do. I prefer LC eating, it just makes me feel healthier and I have more energy to do all the things I like to do. I'm back on the bandwagon today, and only gained 2lbs from my day off. I'm off to go running, gotta get back into the swing of things.
