Default broiled salmon

Here is another tasty recipe that is SO simple!

Just buy some nice salmon filet or steaks
Marinate in McCormicks Lemon & Herb Marinade (0 grams!)
or your fav LC marinade...then
Broil it!!!
Takes 10 minutes or so and it is WONDERFUL!

I made a tartar sauce with:
Mayo, fresh dill, celery salt, and grated lemon peel (in the spice isle)

Do try and I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the information. I just purchased some nice salmon at the store this evening. Your suggestions will come in handy. I'm looking forward to enjoying it.

I just broil it skin side down...no flipping required. Be aware if it is a very thick filet you might need to cook it a litle longer. I generally check it in 10 minutes then cut it at the thickest part to make sure it is done.
You're gonna love this!! SO simple and SOOOO tasty!!!

I broiled a filet the other night and shredded it to make salmon patties! YUM!

Oh...don't forget to spray the broiler pan with nonstick spray. The skin will stick without.

Enjoy!

whoo hooo
I made my first salmon!

to be honest I always thought that tray in the bottom of the stove was just to store pots(serious) bachelors need cooking 101 apparently.

I didn't have any marinade this time but I just put some salt on it and broiled it. Dipped it in mayo and it was yummy. Definately on my weekly shopping trip now.

thanks

Default first broiled salmon here too!

Thanks for the advice! I used a different marinade (I had it handy) and it turned out great! I didn't know fish could be prepared so easily. The cook (me) and the resident fish fanatic (fiancee) are both happy campers. LOL

BTW, my broiling element is in the top of the oven...the section in the bottom really *is* for storage.

I also buy frozen salmon at Cotsco it is great. It's individually frozen so it's fast to thaw and prepare. Thanks for the recipe it sounds great and I love salmon.

Bumping this...

I have never been a big fan of fish, but am going to try adding it to my diet on a semi regular basis. Today I bought some Salmon and I'm going to fix it for dinner tomorrow and see how it goes.
