Wink Lost so much weight that I cant find clothes!

I have a slghtly unusual problem, I've lost so much weight that I have trouble finding clothes to fit me, especially pants and shorts. Does anyone know of a major clothes retailer that would stock a decent selection of mens pants and/or shorts in waist sizes 28" or 29". Most retailers stop at 30". I have found a few pants at Old Navy, but no where else. I know it's not a bad problem to have and I don't expect many people to feel sorry for me. Believe me I love that fact that I have this problem, but I'd really like to find more pants and/or shorts that really fit me (without having them tailored).

I remember back when I was high 200s, low 300s...I would see 28 and 30" Jeans at Wal-Mart from time-to-time and wonder who the hell they made them for. I couldn't fathom at that time that any adult man could fit into a 28" Jeans. Of course, I've been in Adult Sizes since I was about 10 or 11.

Hi lowcarbJ!

My DH is a 29" waist (I think the calories jump off of him at night and cling to my hips) - I'm pretty sure that quite a few of his Dockers are 29's. Hope this helps!

Hi there,

Does the U.S. still have Sears Catalogue - I find it much easier to get exact sizes for my sons jeans that way since you don't have to plow through racks of clothing looking for sizes - usually from a catalogue you can order the waist and inseam you need and then just either pick up or have your package delivered.

my boyfriend has a 27.5 inch waist... he wear Levi Silvertabs of course he loves his jeans kinda baggy so we buy 29's and he wears a belt. You can usually catch these on sale at Jcpenny for 25 + they usually run 50-70 in other stores in the mall.. hope this helps

You may have to start heading to the Junior section - they should be smaller.

Hi, my sons wear 28's and 29's. I have found them at Ross and Marshalls and sometimes at Belk's. I don't know if they have any of those stores in CA.
Good Luck finding them, I'm always excited when I do. Wow what an exciting life I lead. ha ha

I hate that look too and most have them pulled so far down your can see thier boxers. Rappers were the ones who made the look popular. Blech.

If you like comedians Denis Leary has a whole act based on the popularity of those pants. It is really funny.

My brother is really lean and he wears a 28 29 waist too. The brands of pants that he wears are MAVI, SILVER, PASASUCO, and I know that BILLABONG makes a nice jean. All his jeans flatter his siz and he says the accentuate his ass.

I would shop at The Bon or Daytons, it depends on where you live. Anyway, that is the only place I could find pants for my husband who was a size 29 forever. He is now a size 30 and thinks he is so fat. He is 42 btw......Hope this helps.

I believe Target has them. Also, if you shop online at major retailers, they carry a greater variety of sizes than if you were to buy from the stores. I know GAP and Old Navy both do that.

And how about girls who do the same thing with their nasty thongs sticking out! (Or doesn't that bother you? )

Ooooooooooh I hate seeing those thong pieces hanging out (I hate it more at work, where some of the younger crowd have begun to wear clothes that "slip" down).

I really think it is inappropriate - anywhere - but especially at work.

My super duper skinny BF is probably a 28 too. He wears the smallest he can find, usually a 30, and never goes without a belt.
