New numbers after taking the summer off.
Well, not exactly off, but I had a few more cheat days where I partaked in other peoples' cooking (PYT's amoung others). This was partly by design as I wanted to see how my body reacts to a marked increase in carbs. In the end, the numbers weren't all that bad, but I'm not exactly happy about them. In an odd twist of events, my doctor actually had to cheer me up about the numbers. Strange days...
Anyways, enough whining...
Fasting Cholesterol 4.0 mmol/L or 154 mg/dl.
Trigs .4 or 35.
HDL 2 or 77.
LDL-C 1.8 or 69.
If there is one interesting thing about these numbers, it my trigs. The standard LC dogma declares that carbs drive trigs higher. Well, I went from .38 to .4 (33 to 35) with a boatload of carbs (kefir, oats and flax mostly).
