Default 4 Layer Dessert

So this is a recipe that I have been making for years at holiday time and everyone loves it! I have made it LC so that we can enjoy it for the holidays this year also. It turned out great. For the original recipe see my journal (Roxanne's Journey)

LC 4 layer dessert

Bottom layer;

1 cube of room temp butter
6 drops of EZ-Sweetz
1/2 cup of finely chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup of almond flour

Mix well in 13x9 pan, press loosely in pan and bake 15 to 20 mins at 350, just til starts to brown slightly. Do not pack in the pan as it will be hard to get out. Let cool completely.

Next layer;

2 - 8 oz cream cheese, room temp
1/2 cup of powdered splenda and 1/2 cup of Ideal powder, put into coffee grinder to make it really fine powder.
Mix up with mixer.
Then take 1 cup of HWC & EzSweetz to taste (I used 6 drops), using mixer to make whipping cream. Fold the whipping cream into the cream cheese mixture, be careful not to over mix.
Once mixed layer onto crust evenly.

Next layer;

2 small sugar free choc instant puddings
1 1/2 cups of HWC and 1 1/2 cups of water
Mix up and pour/spread onto the cream cheese layer

Last layer;
1 cup of HWC and 6 drops of Ezsweetz, use mixer to make your whipped cream. Spread onto choc pudding layer.

Chill for at least couple hours before cutting. I cut into 16 pieces, nice size portion as this is very rich.

Sounds delicious! DO you happen to have the carb counts?

I did figure it to the best of my ability and came out with 8.3 net per 1/16th of the cake. Kinda high, but sooo worth it for a couple times a year.

The carbs just in the SF pudding mix alone are 64 for the 2 boxes. I was given a recipe for choc pudding that I am going to try for this recipe over the weekend and if I like it then it will reduce the carbs by 40 just on the pudding alone and will bring the carbs per serving down to like 5.8. I will let you know.
