When to eat
I like to work out in the morning. It ensures that I actually get my workout done and gives me an energy boost for the rest of the day. I workout about 30 minutes after I wake up and the workout is usually about 30 minutes long.
My question: should I eat something before my workout? The majority of places I've researched say that working out on an empty stomach you burn a lot more fat than with something there. I also know that it is not good to skip breakfast, or to go a period of time without eating-especially just after waking up. Also, I am never hungry after I work out so I usually wait another hour-2 hours after I wake up-to eat anything.
Should I eat something before my workout or just sooner after? I only eat fruit in the morning, but I could modify that. I feel good, but have only been doing this a week or so so I can't tell if I'm doing harm to my body quite yet. Thanks for your help!
