Default Anyone practice yoga or want to start?

Last year when I started eating LCHF, I also found a gal on youtube that does great yoga videos. I started her 30 days of yoga challenge and have pretty much been doing yoga ever since.

Her channel is Yoga with Adriene. I find her super positive and great at accepting all body types. She has quite a few modifications for those like me who aren't super flexible. She encourages building the practice as well as your strength and flexibility.

She is doing another 30 day practice starting January 1st called Yoga Camp. They are free youtube videos for 30 days. Info can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OIkzT-OpRM You can also sign up to get a daily reminder e-mail here http://yogacamp.pages.ontraport.net/

I would love to see an accountability thread for anyone interested. I am going on a cruise Jan 2 so won't be able to post for 5 days or so. I just wanted to throw the links out in case anyone was interested and wanted to start right on Jan. 1.

Thanks for the link. I've wanted to get back into yoga. Why don't you start a thread in the Challenges forum? It's okay if you're not there for the beginning.

EDIT: Ooops! I just noticed that this thread is from January! Oh well.

Funny you should ask. I just signed up to return to a Tuesday evening yoga class I used to enjoy. So I'll be doing that regularly again.

In addition, I have a number of yoga videos I like, so I plan to add a yoga session to my fitness practice at home.

I'll look for the Accountability thread, although I'm not sure I'll get there on a regular basis.

Enjoy the cruise!

I've been toying with the idea. I was put off as I've only ever tried it once and that when I was hungover on a holiday in South East Asia. I had to run to the toilet to be sick and embarrassingly walked out halfway through. I was in a bit better shape then so that's why I attempted it. When I lose a bit more I'm going to give it another go as I've got a lot of friends who have benefited mentally and physically. Will check the link out, thanks.
