The Bars were not what was stalling me though.

nolly I'm really glad they aren't! After spending so much on them I'd have a hard time not eating them. As for cabbage it is sweet isn't it!! I never realized that before this.

As for Atkins reply it's sad actually because it turns out that some folks actually can metabolize glycerine to some degree. If they couldn't it wouldn't stall them others can't. So in this instance this is a real YMMV (your mileage may vary) sort of thing. Also be aware that what didn't stall you at one time may in the future.

Anyway there is always wiggle room in these grey areas. I'd just hoped Atkins would be on the more conservative side.

Isn't it strange how some things taste sweet . VEGETABLESI never thought cabbage would taste sweet. Spinach & celery also have a sweet taste, though not as much. I hope I don't have a problem with the bars in the future. Prior to this WOE I did not know glycerine was a carb. Question- this may sound silly, but what about additives in lip balm? Some commercially-made balms & lipsticks are really sweet(artificially flavoured ones-like those marketed for pre-teens) I know the amt. actually ingested is small but???

I guess you shouldn't eat your liptstick LOLOL. Minute amounts ingested in this arena probably wouldn't add up to enough to make a difference unless you actually ate sticks of lipstick!!! OH MY
