Default talk to me about fat

I'm on induction and feel good I have lost 15 lbs is 2 weeks. It has slowed down and I know that is more normal. I want to know about the fat contant of the atkins plan.

1 how much is too much fat?
2 how do you burn the fat you have if you are eating a lot of fat?
3 what about 0 carb but has sugar, ie mayo

thanks for all your help. This is a great forum and I love the support. Ellen

Instead of talking, how about some reading, Ellen? Check out these two links for information on:

How much fat we eat and how many calories we need

Why Fat doesnt make you fat

and

0 Carb Mayo?

FYI, Ellen, all these links are available in the Subforum called "Newbies' Questions" under a thread called "Hot Links!" - and there are many more you might want to check out.

Natrushka, thanks for all your wonderful feedback. It has helped me a lot. I still haven't figured out how to log in except to use the test for newcomers, so I can't seem to reach you any way but this.
Anyway- Thanks I needed this info on fats.
