I love a deal! I'd be stocking up at 70% off! Score!

No kidding. Apparently the value box of freezer ziplocs they were selling on big sale was *red* for Christmas - and you can't have that in January! So 70% off for me!!

Ziploc bags are so awesome for freezing extra soup and stuff cause they stack up nicely and take up less space than like a container.

Sorry to hear you've still got the crud. I don't lose at all if I don't get a good night's sleep. I'm not big on meds, but if I can't sleep because of a really bad cough, I will take the narcotic type of cough syrup. It has saved my sanity on more than one occasion.

Already have some from some previous horrendous bout with horrid coughing - and it's not working for me. Cause what keeps me awake is the stuff draining down the back of my throat and then I feel like I'm choking - and I'm coughing to clear that. And I swear nothing is working to really clear it up. At least it doesn't work well *enough* for me to sleep - after like 9pm at night until like 4am - I'm an unstoppable faucet. I tried the oil of oregano yesterday - wow I took a ton, and it helped more than my regular stuff, but I took it in coconut oil which kept me awake. tonight I'll try it with olive oil. I'm taking some internally, but what helps dry me up is the drops under the tongue, and I can't do that totally straight - it burns.

Does taking a hot steamy shower calm or irritate your cough?

Doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Getting up and walking around helps - but it's hard to sleep that way.

I've turned off the vaporizer cause I actually thought it was making it worse.

OK ok, I swore I was going to stop talking about this! so boring!

So in other news...
anyone exercising? I'm not.

I have 2 ideas.

1) sleep all day, and sit up all night so it can drain downward without choking you.

2) Sleep on your back with an extra pillow or two under your head/shoulders, so it can drain without choking you.

Will either of those work?

Still water weight. I think it's all water weight at the beginning, until it stops dropping daily. I'm hoping that there's another 10 pounds of swelling in there to drop before it stops! It'll be interesting to me to see just how far it goes this time, with absolutely no inflammation offenders to slow it down.

My belly is deflating, too. Last night , while soaking in my epsom salts bath (REALLY wish I would have splurged on that soaker tub I was drooling over!) I could actually see my privates over my belly. LOL! It's been years!!!
