At this point, I think the family members that bring the food to them should be charged with abuse! My mother had a family move in beside her a few years ago. There was a young man (son) that must have weighed 450 pounds when they first got there. Soon, you saw the pizza delivery truck there SEVERAL times a day, every day. He had a lot of health problems and they would call for an ambulance. Once, one of the EMTs hurt his back really bad trying to help lift him. They said he weighed 550 pounds by then. After that, they sent 12 people to lift him, so no one got hurt. Sadly, the last time, they had to take out the door because he was too big to go through the door. He died at the hospital.
Once, after my mom watched the ambulance take him away again, she asked his mom why they kept bringing him all that food and she said that food was his only joy and she just couldn't deprive him. She loved him to death!
