Unhappy I keep on emotional eating binge!

This WOA works, we all know it, if followed well.
I KNOW I feel better, and I lose.
But: I keep undermining ALL my success with emotional binging.
I have been losing and gaining back the same 10 pounds for the whole time I have been on LC. I need to over come this or I will NEVER get the weight off.
I will be doing great for about 2 to 3 monthjs, when something really upsetting comes along and triggers the emotional retreat to fall off the wagon.
Has anybody here over come emotional eating?

I am here to tell you that i could have posted this word for word. I have lost the same 83 lbs 2 times already..still working on re-losing what i gained back. It is discouraging. For me it was and is like that part of my brain is not wired right. I eat, but its like i am not here..there is no controling it when i am in a binge. I have started something new, added fasting. So far, i have to say it is the only thing that has stopped my binge eating. I keep gaining and dropping the same 10 lbs too and found it way easier to binge. I dont' know, and can't say, that this will work forever, but for right now it keeps that binging under control and i had a complete 2 months train wreck of eating.

Thanks for responding Mainecyn, I have also just discovered fasting. I refuse to eat till after 12, and it does help keep binging at bay.
Try again!
