Default The Lost Have Found The Way

I have been lost and floundering from diet to diet just to gain and gain and gain. So in my abundance of diet books I came across both the CAD and CALP books. I have been toying with the idea of going low carb but don't really want to give up some foods and the counting. Then it was like those books jumped at me and said "HERE IS THE PLAN FOR YOU". So here I am today starting. I believe I will do the CALP with the more structure for RM meals. I really need to lose and finally get to goal for both my health and mental health. So I am pouring myself into these books and going to this right. There is such a wealth of information and support here it is just wonderful.

I am so tired of counting points, calories, etc. I am not a tracker I can plan but tracking every bit that comes in my mouth..no. This plan is one that is very life friendly and family friendly.

I feel almost liberated that I found my way here again and back to this WOL.

Here's to today the first day of my journey to a new happy healthy life.

Hi Carla, You sound like me! I had the same kind of "This is it" moment, and I too got tired of measuring and counting.
I'm also doing it for my mental health as much as my physical health
I'm on day 5 of CAD, and I'm loving it.

Most people chat on the hourpower thread, see you there

I had that "this is it" moment three years ago and I am relieved that I found such a wonderful program.

I know CALP has worked well for me and the most positive thing that I could say to anyone would be that "I hope it works as well for you as it does for me."

Wishing everyone the very best!

I am newly back, for same reasons - physical and emotional health. I'm just a much happier person w/out the insulin-running rampant woman I am off-plan

How are things going for you?
