It must have been fun 'cause the time just flew by and the one- and two-liners were zinging past faster than I could keep up with them! You gotta remember, some of us old folk don't hear as fast as we used to!!! Anyhow, I'll check my schedule and see if I can find a clear weekend in October.

Glenda - I never did hear fast - I miss words all the time - sometimes what I hear is pretty funny compared to what I know was actually said.

That being said, I do have a very strange sense of humour and have endless fun with social nitwits who don't know any better than to egg me on (i.e., the idiot from Sask)......

I hope we can find a day that works for all of us.

I'm starting to lean to the idea that maybe we should have mini-get-togethers, one weekend version for those that can't do weeknights due to other commitments (yikes, let the kids fend for themselves in the street... ) and one for the rest of us that do so much better on a weeknight.

A weekend brunch? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, that sounds interesting! Milestones (at least the new one out here on Millstream) and Moxies both have pretty nice atmosphere, pretty decent (and decently priced) brunch omelettes with only minimal tweaking required (basic "please keep the toast and potatoes in the kitchen").

I'm definitely out of the picture for the 28th - shows both days that weekend, and actually weekends are out for me all of October and I can't make it at all until after the 21st or 22nd. Stupid show commitments!! We'll be leaving town around the 6th or 7th.

I'm feeling fine today. I wasn't sick after all...just raw from inhaling antifreeze all day and having the heat on. I just had to be sure before I committed...don't want to spread anything.
I'm still up for a road trip if you are.
