Grav,
We had the chance to read the draft here, but your story published on DietDoctor is even more amazing. it! They must too as it looks to be unedited. You are a terrific writer who conveyed a life-long struggle with weight that will resonant with so many readers* around the world. Congratulations!

* A few weeks ago, they mentioned close to 25,000 members and a quarter of a million views a day. Trust your story will get reposted on RealMealRevolution too.

Congratulations Grav! How many Gravs will it take to convince all those "experts in their fields" that the United States screwed up when we jumped on the Ancel Keys bandwagon. The 'healthy low fat diet' dogma has been the bane of my existence, too. One more good story of success on the world stage can only help. Thanks for your contribution.

Excellent story writing, very compelling. It just takes one testimonial at a time, but over time, the grass-roots group grows in size and influence. We've got a great group here with lots of knowledge and influence. Good to know that knowledge and influence is being shared.

Thanks Janet. It looks to me too like it wasn't edited, although I noticed that the link to the NZ health guidelines had been mangled somehow, so I posted the full URL in the comments and they kindly fixed that up.

As for RMR, I wrote them a separate thankyou note for which they were appreciative, but that was before the story appeared on DD. I've since sent them a quick follow-up link as well.

What I really like about RMR is that the course they offer has a bit of structure to it, but there's not much reason to stay subscribed there once the course is done. They were perfect for me when I was getting started though, definitely deserving of their plug.

Haha, it sounds like a bad lightbulb joke. How many Gravs does it take to convince the experts?

I would say... hopefully one less than this time yesterday.

Thanks also to Thud, Jo, Janet, Hiltm, teaser, Rob, Robin and WereBear. I'm sorry I can't think of anything unique to say to everybody, beyond the fact that I'm feeling pretty warm and fuzzy tonight because of you all.
