Sometimes I wonder if dairy or wheat is a trigger, but I'm never bothered enough by my little issues to go to the effort of doing the whole elimination diet test to find out for sure.

I realize this has the appeal of a lead balloon, but a lot of these things are often tied to dairy or grain intolerances. Bat Spit has gotten rid of her asthma entirely by eliminating dairy. I got rid of my ezcema by ridding myself of gluten. My sinus issues were dairy related.
Anyway, if you can steel yourself to doing it for a couple of weeks, try to go paleo and see if you can't resolve these issues with your diet. What's a couple of weeks? Pretty easy, just eat meat and vegetables, maybe a little fruit and nuts. Avoid premade food unless you carefully read the labels and know there is no gluten (barley, oats, wheat, rye) or milk products (casein, whey, lactose, etc).
