Hi folks. I would like to join. I've checked out the thread a few times; congrats on everyone's successes, large and small.
I've felt completely zapped of what I guess you could call emotional energy with respect to diet and fitness for a last few years. I guess I'm just trying to get into a groove where LC eating makes me remotely happy and enthusiastic again.
That's my main goal for the next 90 days. I'm breaking it down into a few daily tasks that should help my mind get back where it should be:
1. Daily yoga or similar activity. Even ten minutes is fine... it's better than nothing. That's been one of my killers when it comes to activity: the "I don't have time" mentality. It's finally sunken in that I don't have to dress in a leotard and spend 45 minutes on it. 'Some' is always better than 'none!'
2. Join the Daily Weigh-In thread. I'll probably take a few mulligans on this one. I don't really consider it that necessary, and I know I'm going to forget here and there. I have no weight goal; simply trying to get back into the habit of observation.
3. Remember my supplements. I really think this one has taken a toll on my mental outlook over the last few months.
4. No carbage treats, and starchier vegetables with dinner only, if at all. Stay as close to ketogenic as possible. I'm going to blatantly plagiarize Ken and set myself 5 free passes on this one.
I may alter/clarify some of these goals.
