This is very similar to chicken parm only with it you soak the chicken in the mixture (I leave it overnight) and you can put a couple of eggs in as well. I also experiment with other things added into the coating such as ground flax, almond meal, etc.
I'm now looking very forward to trying it with fish!

I'm having a hard time replacing the starch...should I have more veggies????Is there any kind of pasta I can have???

We live in North Carolina, about 12 miles from Hendersonville. Ingles Food store is a little bit more expensive than Walmart but they carry some low carb items that Walmart does not have. The item is "Shirtake Noodles" and it comes in two kinds - the ones that look like macaroni and the others that look like fettucini.

CAUTION! These are made from tofu and have very little carbs but unless you follow the directions the odor of fermenting bean curd is not too pleasant.
Rinsing the noodles thoroughly, patting them dry in a couple of paper towels then rinsing again followed by another drying sessions helps. Then you need to put the noodles into a bowl and into the microwave for one minute followed by another drying session. At that point the noodles have very little odor to them and go well with any type of low carb gravy you might want to use.

Can anyone tell me if a person could cook this beforehand and then zap it later in the microwave? I know microwaving fish sometimes doesn't make the best results but I'm wanting to cook stuff beforehand so I can just zap things when I get home from work.
