Default What to drink?

Hi all:

I've been on TSP for about six weeks. So far, so good. : One thing I haven't explored yet is what things I can drink besides water. I know that water is the number one thing to drink, but I am wondering if I can ever drink anything else.

I am not a coffee drinker. I have thought about herbal tea. Which types of tea would be non-stimulating? Is there anything else? (I don't want to waste my carb allotment on juice--better to eat the fruit.)

Thanks.

Lisa P.

Can you get RED BUSH tea (Rooibosh tea)........it's like normal tea but a little more fragrant. It is caffeine free, a naturally rich antioxidant and has low in Tannins. I make it up as normal tea with a little soya milk or normal milk or u can have it without milk.
I have been drinking it for years when i gave up tea and coffee (8 years ago).

Tisanes are a good alternative. People often call these tea, but they are genrally herbal or fruit leaves and flowers. Usually no caffiene. Stash has a wide variety of flavors. Many other companies do as well.
Peppermint, mango, licorice, ruby mist and lots more I can't remember. Almost any non caffiene tea or tisane is good, but check the carbs on the fruity flavors. They are small, but you need to know what you are consuming. All of these are great iced and hot.

Lightbulb Seltzer

Flavored seltzer (without any sweeteners) is good. It's fizzy, so it's a little more festive than plain ol' water. I like raspberry. I've tried lemon, too, and plain seltzer. My brand (from Publix) has no sodium. That's important to check.

Decaf coffee and tea are good, too.
