I finally became smoke free on Nov 16, 2006 - my birthday - so just over 3 years ago. I'd been smoking since I was 12 so was delighted to finally get my head round quitting. I hate to think how much I've spent on cigs over those 18 years! I still love waking up in a room that doesn't smell of smoke )

Last cigarette was Oct 8, 2009. I like to think I'm officially a non-smoker, but still crave.

Congratulations!

I still think of smoking now and then, but of course, I won't do it. It mostly hits me when I'm especially tired. I sit down and the thought of a cig hits me, but it passes just as quickly.

It's weird I had a smokin' dream last night. Don't usually dream. A friend came by last night that smelled of smoke. Both his room mates smoke. I can smell it a mile away now can't stand it. Stopped June 23rd 2008. Stopped caffeine June of this year.

23 April will be my 1 year. I tried quitting several times..but finally did it with one of those electronic ones..it was slow but now I rarely use the e-cig at all. feel good, I do have the occasional cigar while playing golf, but don't crave those when leaving the course either.
