Thumbs up 10k challenge, tdc challenge

Tell me more about the challenges. I appreciate everyone's encouragement. I clicked on the challenges but didn't find out all the particulars. I'm anxious to get started.
I'm home from work on my lunch hour. Taking a class tonight at the local satelite center for IVY Tech State College so it will be late when I check back in.

Go to the "challenges" section and you will find these 2 have a pretty fair message base. In a nutshell, both are basically whatever you would like to do to improve your physical exersion...and a place to log your personal results. Any challenge is a great one so long as you REALLY participate.

There is also a WALK AROUND THE WORLD where member log miles and Breecita made a web page that charts our "distance". Pretty cool.

Good luck on whatever you choose to do!

Hello TWO -

as MisterE says....they are both geared up to get us folks moving. TDC thread is a general exercise challenge, we just finished our 3rd one! The 4th TDC starts real soon, this weekend I think. Check out thread on that....likely best to look at the 3rd TDC CHALLENGE to get a flow for what the group was doing. Our illustrious leader, AntiM (aka Monika) will be leading us again! Its been fun and a great way to meet other TDC'ers.

In an effort to increase my own exercise I have started training for a 10K walk where I live. Don't let the 10K throw you off - it starts very slow and builds over the course of 13 weeks!!

Its a very popular program and totally geared for novices, so lace up your shoes and come on out with us! I think everyone in the walking challenge is also a TDC challenger! We're just double dipping to give our efforts a boost. Check out both threads and start at the start and read through. The walk just started this week...so you are right on time
