Hi everyone,

I lost 35 lbs. on CAD 6 years ago. However, I went off it and, of course, put it all back. I'm now back to CAD after trying Weight Watchers and other diets. I just CAN'T eat carbs that are included in all the other diets and lose weight. I've been back on CAD for about 10 days and have taken off 5 lbs.

The biggest surprise this time around is the variety of non-carb food stuffs available. I just bought several products yesterday to try; keto cookie mix, keto bread mix and some carbo-lite chocolate bars with no carbs at all. Remains to be seen whether they are edible or not.

Meanwhile, glad to be back low-carbing and looking forward to losing that darn 35 lbs. again.

Watch out for the carbo-lite products. Some carb addicts react to them. Some people even react to the protein shakes. You don't want to stall! Add one thing at a time until you see how you react to them. Try to save treats for your reward meal.

Thanks for the warning. Very interesting; I tried a bit of the carb-lite candy bar the other day and I felt a bit queasy after eating it. I'll reserve judgement until I try some more.
Meanwhile I made the keto-cookies. Fair at best. They seem to be oK though.

Thanks, tho, and I'll go slowly with the purchases.

Default BEWARE

Hi

Im an active CAD'er and have been for months now...

The thing about theose low carb products is that they generally taste awful and the other thing is that they contain Nutrasweet/Aspartame which i have just come to understand is VERY bad for you! - Have a look on the net

Good Luck
