Are there any Type II Diabetics out there who have tried CAD or CALP? I would be interested to know the effects of the RM on your blood sugars.
Thanks,
Susan

Default Not me......

Not me..... but I know of two people who are diabetic and have done really well on a LC diet. Neither are close friends and therefore I don't have enough details to share except for this.

One is a co-worker, who on his doctors advice went on a "general LC diet"...... lost a moderate amount of weight and currently takes no medication at all.

The other is a friend of my Mother, it seems to me he has been doing Atkins for the last three years. He has lost probably 150+ pounds (I kid you not). I do not know if he takes medication or not. But according to my mother he "got his life back".

I have read so many positive things about LC WOL and diabetes. I am sure that you can find a lot of wonderful info about them here. I don't know anyone in particular who does CALP and is Type 2..... but I would bet the results would be amazing.

Best of luck.
Libby
