Just wondering if anyone here has any ideas for salad dressing that would be somewhat lowfat. Maybe homeade or something I could buy at the store. I read in the CALP book that you shouldn't eat lowfat dressings because they have higher carb counts. I have been thinning mine with about 1/4 water but as much as I use, I am still getting ALOT of fat and calories. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Chuppet
You can make creamy low-fat dressings by using fat-free sour cream, mayonnaise, pureed cottage cheese, etc. and doctor it up with herbs, salt, lemon juice or vinegar.
But, you've probably been told before that fat calories don't matter as much when you low-carb.
