Default Hello, all

Jumping in! I'm no stranger to low carb and have had some success in the past, but as you can see from my stats, I haven't been able to make it stick long term! I've read this board and found it inspiring, so I've decided what I need in my life is the additional support of belonging to a group of great people! I've currently been "lowish" carb for the last week or two, and am starting Atkins Induction tomorrow. Anyway, that's me! :-)

Welcome back

An issue for people "coming back" is that they remember what they ate later in the program and do not do at least two weeks of induction. The guidelines are right at the top of the Atkins sub-forum. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=236482.
There are limits on cream and cheese, no nuts or alcohol, which results in little leeway for "treats". But following induction helps you on your way to being fat-adapted and lessens hunger and cravings. You can stay on Induction as long as needed until carb cravings are a thing of the past. Re-read the Atkins book and you will do well.

welcome aboard!!
Congrats on making the decision to Start and actually committing to a start date, that is one of the hardest parts!!
I too am restarting, for good this time....
I also need the support and accountability, nice to know that I am not one in climbing this mountain that at times seems insurmountable (:
