Default Losing inches vs. Losing lbs.

Hello, everyone. For those of you who have had the experience of losing inches, while the pounds seem to be stubbornly hanging on, does there ever come a time when the scale drops?

Yep. I get a once a month woosh on most months not all. I tend to lose that way so I have learned the scale is not my friend but a old pair of high waisted jeans are.

Yes, though it has taken as long as 4.5 months of consistent LC eating to happen. Still, I'd take inches over pounds any day.

Well, guess I'd take inches over pounds too, but dang, those pounds do a number on your head! I want BOTH to go down!

Inches over pounds, for sure. Pounds could be water, fat, muscle or bones! Inches without weight loss probably is just fat.

Yeah, I love my clothes fitting better even as the scale doesn't move, but morale is much higher when I see lower numbers on the scale.

I seem to have the opposite problem. I've lost upwards of 40 pounds on the scale with strict low carb, without seeing any appreciable change in inches.

I can't seem to avoid the scale and my pants I want to fit in I seldom try on. But I have about 6 months until I hope for my goal weight of 190 (summer time). Nice and slow lose even though I want to see results now.

I know seeing the scale isn't moving but try on some pants you haven't worn and you will smile, I am sure.

i'm staying away from the scale as long as possible. i can see and feel the difference when the weight and inches are dropping.

i know when i can get into my favorite jeans then everything is alright. that keeps a smile on my face vs. a seesaw scale.
