Question Ideas for intro

This is my 3rd day of intro, it's rough. Does anyone have recipes for intro for the food that we can eat . Or ideas for jazzing up food. Also if I miss calculated carbs at the end of the day by 2 or 3 have I totally mess up intro. I'm sorry if this sounds so lame but I'm new.

For recipe ideas, check out the Low Carb Recipes tab on the orange bar above.

As for missing your carb total by 2 or 3 grams. Don't worry about it overly much. Try to average out, over any two or three day period, pretty close to 20g (or whatever your plan calls for). There is uncertainty in how much you are consuming anyway - there is uncertainty in the label, the serving size, the amount you actually eat and so forth. If your actual intake is within 10% of what you think it is that is probably doing pretty good.

Also, I notice that your plan is "introduction"? Do you actually have a plan yet? If not, I recommend that you check out the "Which low-carb plan is right for me?" link to the right and pick a plan - you can always change later. Most people that try to wing it do not have a lot of success, so go with a plan that has been devised by a group of people that have devoted major portions of their career to developing a plan that works based on thousands of patients. Then, as you learn more about the fine points of LC'ing and you learn more about your individual body, you will be well prepared to tailor a customized program that really works for you.

Keep the Faith!

There's an article under Low Carb Tips by Karen called "Jazzing up your Induction" which should help you out. Browsing through the recipe section is also a great idea. Make sure to click on the link in the recipe section (atop every page in orange highlight) for Members' Recipes as well.
