Question avocado

I'm making chocolate avocado pudding and the recipe says 1 avocado, I don't know which type of avocado, in New Hampshire they are small and can fit in your hand. In some videos I've seen, I see huge avocados.
so how do I know how which to use?

large florida avocado's yield about a cup each per avacado.
the small haas avocado yields about 1/2 cup each.

the recipes i have looked at, calls for 2 lg avocados..
if you cut the recipe in half, 2 small avocados would equal 1 lg avocado.

Yum Lassara, that sounds good!! I'll bet it's the regular Haas avocado in that recipe. That's the most common.
Can I save that recipe? Good Potassium!

Haas, Is the most common one. It's the smaller one with the really dark green bumpy skin.
The other type is huge with bright green smooth skin

The FL ones have more water, and the CA are more "creamy" so i would just use more CA avo's.
