I often try spice or herb blends with sour cream, sometimes as a dip for meat as well as veggies. Italian herbs, herbs de provence are good; garam masala or harissa if you like spicy, and adobo is a good blend too. If I'm too lazy to make a side dish with meat I have a cup of sour cream dip on the side.
One favorite I came up with a while ago, haven't had it for a while: I did a version of an "everything bagel" in a sour cream dip -- sesame seeds, garlic chips, poppy seeds, onion flakes, and sea salt.
