To me, the coconut taste is just barely there. It's not like extra-virgin coconut oil - that almost makes me gag. :P
You might taste the coconut flour if it's an otherwise bland recipe, but if it's spiced up, you probably won't. "Bland" might be a plain cookie recipe, while "spiced up" might be meatloaf, meatballs, pumpkin spice muffins, etc.
When I made coconut flour cheese tea biscuits, my picky SO loved them and didn't even notice that it was coconut. He said it tasted "dessert-like" but couldn't place it.
