Default % totals - question, not sure where to post

Do some foods, with 0 net carbs throw off your totals for the day?

Have some calories, yet 0 net carbs?

Thanks.

BTW, I think my totals for yesterday were the following:

Calories: 1960

Fat: 57%
Carbs: .015% (7.1 carbs)
Protein: 25%

I just refigured the amounts with the extra 100 calories with 0 net carbs:

Not than far off

Fat: 54%
Carbs: .014%
Protein: 23.4%

I guess it doesn't really matter much.

I think you're asking, if you use net carbs instead of gross, how do you make your ratios = 100%? Yeah, I've wondered that myself, and came to the same conclusion you have: "guess it really doesn't really matter much" ;o) Still, if there's some formula net-carb counters are using to make that adjustment, I'd like to know what it is, too.

But one thing, 29 calories (7.1 carbs) divided by 1960 = 1.5%, not .015%

Default Hmmm, I think I did this right, but

hadn't calculated totals in a while.

Carbs 7.1 x 4 = 28.4 % 1960 = .014 or 1.4%

Something is not right. I'm going to have my husband total these.

Thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully it will make sense tomorrow.
