Default "Curves" fitness workout?

HI!
Has anyone tried "Curves"? If so, has it been a positive use of your time? Now that it is very cold here in N.E. Pa I am no longer riding my bike and karate class on Sat. is just not enough. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has or is using this outlet for exercise.
I am 5'5 3/4" and 145lb. I was shocked to learn during my body analisis that my body fat is 31%!!Yikes! Hope lowcarbing will help bring that down.
Thanks!

Default Curves

Hi Joy!
Yes Curves is GREAT. When I first started Atkins last year I started Curves, I went 5 days a week. It is really enjoyable and a great way to start getting into shape when you are, well..out of shape. After 3 months I had lost 30 pounds! My body fat % had gone down 10% as well, they monitor all that for you if you want so thats great too.
I say go for it! My advice is though...don't sign up for a year, if you stick with it and get in better shape as quickly as I did, it becomes boring and you may want to move on to a bigger gym.
Take care!
Tammy

Hi YukonSun!
Thanks for your reply and your comments! I'm really glad to hear that it worked out so well for you!
I did sign up, and for a year...oh well. I will post with my results.
I have a friend in Cordova, is Whitehorse anywhere near that?
I guess it must be colder your way than it is in PA.!! LOL
Stay warm!

Hi I just joined curves myself and feel great. 30 minutes of my time really works into my hectic schedule and the fact that it's the equivalent of 1 1/2 hours of exercise even better. All I know is I feel better. I have gone there with a headache and left without one.
