I was thinking about starting a weightlifting regimen. What would you suggest for me?

Very interesting article, Pammy. I've been doing more weight training lately and it's good to know it's good for me! Somehow lifting weights never seems so virtuous as running on the treadmill.

Thanks for the articles. Very informative. They just verified that I'm on the right path with wt training 2-3 days/week.

As a 59 year old woman with osteoarthritis of the hip, I was certain that I could never do anything but cardio to help myself. Thank you for sharing the article. It's the first thing I'm going to talk to my doctors about when I see them next.

Try High Intensity Training, using heavy weights is stimulating muscle growth. My wife, daughter and mother are doing this and benefitting. It is short, intense and therefore not boaring at all. The results will make you love it.
