For the past month, I've been involved in a project. It's ready for publication, and so I'm offering it to all of you.
It's simply a free offering. Maybe it will be a help to someone. Maybe it will give hope to someone who is floundering, just reading through my struggles and seeing the progress (though the journey will NEVER be done, as Kathlene and Adele have both lovingly reminded me.) At the very least, it's helped me as I've reviewed everything. I've gained some insights into my journey and now feel even more grounded in the changes I continue to go through.
What I've done is organized all my journaling -- all the strugglings with this candida and the weight loss -- along with the processes of reaching some understanding and peace. I've putting it into a homepage, and am hoping it will be a "nuts-and-bolts", "this-is-how-I-did-it" demonstration/resource to information. I'd wished many times throughout the whole process I could read someone else's experience with all this, especially Kathleen's and Adele's and Connie's -- those who have actually reached their weight loss goal and continued with this way of eating for years -- those who know what the process is like from start to goal and beyond. I've thought that might have helped me through the floundering, confused times when I honestly didn't know what I COULD EAT!! (and feel like I was nourishing my body, instead of abusing it.)

I have felt a real need, even a drive, to get this put together. The project has literally consumed my attention for a month.
I've tried to present the information in an honest way, and sometimes frustrations come through in the writing that I was experiencing at the time (such as during my ED) that are NOT my final assessment of my experience. I have chosen to leave those frustrations as originally written, in the hope it will give a truthful account of my experience and the development of my understanding, both related to the diet and my emotional progress through all of this. I've included much from the List that helped shape my journey and led me to acceptance of this Gold Standard way of eating.
I hope this will be received in the spirit with which I offer it -- as a gift, freely given, with merely the objective to offer back and hopefully help someone.
