Does anyone include exercise at this point or are you focusing on diet only?

Waving "Hi!"

I started doing Yoga back in January. I did a 30 day challenge and then reverted to 3-4 times a week. I am trying to get back into daily practice again.

I also ice skate. I have not been at it the last 3 weeks due rink being closed for annual repairs. It's easier on my joints than running and can burn about 600-800 calories an hour. 11 laps= 1 mile

How did the weekend go for everybody?

Mine was pretty good. The hubs grilled steaks on Sunday. On Sat, we went to the ballpark to see the Twins play Toronto. I thought I was just going to have to eat a hot dog without a bun, but there were actually a few good options. There was a sign that showed all the different food options based on different diets. In addition to all kinds of sausages (that you could get without the bun), there was grilled chicken, turkey, pork chops, and even a salad place.

ahh, Renee... not so well, not so well. I went visit family and out to a rock concert, and it was impossible to stay LC. I managed to stay gluten free, and that is something, but am back at 166 lb.
Oh well. I don't give up, my goal is to slowly drive the weight downward rather than upwords. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have caught up again where I left off. POSITIVE THINKING.

My weekend was not great either. I went hiking with friends (I normally love hiking) and I got sick from the heat. I recently moved from a cool climate to a hot one, and I guess my body wasn't ready. But, I'm back at eating healthfully now. My goal is just for my healthy days to exceed my unhealthy days. Because I do feel so much better when I eat real food!

Peep squeak - staying gluten free is something and love that you're not giving up!

Liz - hope you're feeling better! It does take some time to adjust from cool to hot. I had to go to Arizona for work one summer (live in the cooler Mid-west). It took awhile to get used to.

How are things going for everyone? I did a big shop on the weekend and am excited to have plenty of LC food again!

Everything is going well with the eating. I haven't started working out regularly yet. I'm keeping my weigh ins to once a week , so I can stay focused on the bigger picture of better health.

I have to go shopping for food this week, but I'm fully stocked with meats and fish.

Things are ok here. My daughter had a birthday yesterday and requested that make her a cake and the hubs make his famous ribs. I ended up tasting the cake batter, but not more than a taste. I was hoping it would taste too sweet, but it was delicious. The hubs made me a lower sugar bbq sauce just for me. It was ok. Not as good as his usual. I didn't eat as much as normal so I guess that is a plus.

The rink opens back up today so i will be back to exercizing more regularly now.

Renee, that is so cool that you ice skate!

chiros, I feel like I'm always shopping or have to shop. I love the feeling of having healthy food in the house!

I found a yum-looking recipe for making a chocolate macadamia nut sea salt bark, but I've been too lazy to actually get it made. Maybe tonight.

Hey, Liz! Did you make the chocolate macadamia nut bark yet? Sounds yummy. I bought some stuff to do some low carb baking, but have been having trouble finding one ingredient.
