Wink Just saying hello =)

Hey everyone! I am 31 and a stay at home mom. I am a very active person, I go to the gym most days out of the week for cardio and strength training. I was diagnosed at age 11 with hypothyroidism, which has been and up and down battle for the past 20 years.

I am currently doing the Atkins plan, on phase 2 week 2. Have had pretty good success so far, but stalling a little bit this week. Sometimes I feel like there are so many things trying to keep me from reaching my goal, but trying to stay positive and keep pushing

I am so happy to have found this forum. I've read and tried lots of good advice, I love seeing how positive and optimistic everyone is!

Cheers!

Hello and welcome! I jumped into Atkins at Phase 2. The first month is the hardest. A lot of changes go on in mind, body, habits. More often than not, as I hear from others and happened to me, the scale comes to a dead stop after the initial quick weight loss. It may even fluctuate up and down a bit. But if you keep forging ahead, doing what you're doing, the scale will begin to move downward again and you'll see and feel differences (good ones!) in your body.

Good to have you here with us!

The first 2 weeks on induction were great! I wish I could stay there lol. And then yes, a dead stop. Thanks for the reassurance and the warm welcome
